Urbanizing Suburbia explores the relationship between three current processes in global cities: hyper-gentrification of inner cities, financialization of housing, and structural changes in suburbs. The publication examines these processes using the example of four major European cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Stockholm. It is a first attempt to consider these three processes within a comprehensive framework.
