Once upon a time in Oxelösund

Situations studio project at KTH, done in collaboration with Meike Wernecke

2020

The project proposes bird-life as an opportunity for urban design to co-remediate an environment that has been polluted over the years by the processes of the steel industry. Identifying the current built and unbuilt environment provides the possibility of imagining new technologies that take into account the relationships between humans and that beyond the human world. The new steel production proposes a process where the use of water can be recycled and reconnected with existing habitats, establishing new small-scale industries.
