Our cities are inherently lonely and many public spaces make it hard to connect with others. We take this opportunity of designing a picnic spot to create urban furniture where people can interact on different levels while enjoying food. The furniture enables the user to co-design some parts on their own or with the help of others. They can reduce their sense of loneliness through observation, small talk or spontaneous gatherings.
